The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. by President Prola.  It was noted that all Board members were present with the exception of Trustee L?pez, who arrived at 6:10 p.m.

There were no public comments on non-agenda items.

SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH WORKSHOP

On February 26, 2013, the Board selected Hazard, Young, Attea (HYA) and Associates to conduct the search to replace Superintendent Cindy M. Cathey.  The first step in the selection process is to hold a planning workshop.  Search consultants Bill Levinson and Caroyln McKennan facilitated the workshop. 

As part of the workshop, the Board reviewed the search process and determined the search calendar. Topics reviewed and discussed included, but were not limited to:  

• Identification of individuals and groups to meet with HYA consultants in development of Leadership Profile Report, community input process and timeline
• The online survey
• Interviews with Board members
• Vetting process for slate of candidates
• Expense reimbursements, posting preferences
• Superintendent contract
• Other information as appropriate
