E. PRESENTATIONS
E.1. San Leandro High School & Fred T. Korematsu Campus (FTK) - We Come From Greatness
Rationale:
At San Leandro High School, we celebrate our growth as a strong school community. Our purpose is to inspire and adequately prepare our scholars for college, career and life after high school. San Leandro High School students created a video to show their brilliance and the many opportunities provided for them to develop into strong spirited, determined critical thinkers that will continue to contribute to their community and society at large. This is a brief visual journey that our young scholars created to communicate our progress here at San Leandro High School to our board of education.

Minutes:
Dr. Ronald Richardson and Dr. Reginald Richardson, Co-Principals at San Leandro High School, introduced two students, Erica Dazo, a junior and Associated Student Body (ASB) President, and Emily Lo, also a junior and ASB Secretary, to speak on various events at the high school and introduce the video provided for the presentation. The video embraced their theme "We Come From Greatness" and the many activities taking place at the high school.
E.2. Lincoln Alternative Education Center - A Place Where Students Get a Second Chance
Rationale:

Lincoln Alternative Education Center (LAEC) is working to transform its capacity to serve students seeking to thrive in the alternative education setting. LAEC principal, Stephen Redmond, will provide an overview of the current programs, the positive qualities of Lincoln students, a look at some of the new programs, and the conditions for ensuring students are successful. The presentation will include a short video that looks at some of the events that we have held this school year that have served San Leandro students in positive ways.

Minutes:
Stephen Redmond, Principal of Lincoln Alternative Education Center, provided a power point presentation imparting an overview of events and activities taking place at that site. Mr. Redmond presented on the programs, benefits, goals, highlights and what's in store for the future. Mr. Redmond then presented a video of students expressing what Lincoln means to them.

Minutes:
Bradley Frazier, Principal of the San Leandro Adult School, discussed the benefits of 'Successful Student Transitions' from the adult school into the work force. He backed up the benefits via a power point presentation. This presentation included the vendors and many activities and events that assist students in their transitions.

Teacher Kristy Caady spoke on the benefits of assisting students. Ms. Caady brought one of the students, Jessica Rojas, to speak to the audience on how the Adult School staff impacted her transition into the work world and displayed gratitude for all to the Adult School staff who provided assistance to her.
