| The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm. |

| Roll call was taken. President Gonzalez and Trustees Oshinski and Rodriguez were present at the AEC. Trustees Prola, Sheridan and Tate attended the meeting virtually. Trustee Aguilar was absent during roll call but arrived at 6:04pm. |

| President Gonzalez asked Student Board Member Mackenzie Cin to lead the Board and members of the audience in the pledge of allegiance. |

Passed with a motion by Christian Rodriguez and a second by Peter Oshinski. |

Members of the audience who wish to address the Board are asked to “raise your hand” via zoom during the meeting when the item is reached on the agenda or, for non-agenda items, during the Public Testimony item and wait to start speaking when you are called upon. Comments sent prior to the Board meeting have been provided to members of the Board in advance of the meeting. Some that only recently came in will be read aloud now. Please note that the meeting is being recorded. State law prohibits the Board of Education from taking any action on or discussing items that are not on the posted agenda except to A) briefly respond to statements made or questions posed by the public in attendance; B) ask questions for clarification; C) provide a reference to a staff member or other resource for factual information in response to the inquiry; or D) ask a staff member to report back on the matter at the next meeting and/or put it on a future agenda. (Government Code 54954.2(a)).

Celebrating All SLUSD Schools for the 2020-2021 School Year All 13 district schools will be sharing short video presentations about their achievements during this historic school year. As all schools started this school year in distance learning, then quickly pivoted to hybrid learning, these videos will highlight a wide variety of successes and insights from their students, families and staff. All videos will be made available on the district’s YouTube channel after the day after the board meeting.

| Keziah Moss, Director of Community and Employee Engagement, introduced all videos being presented to the board. Upon viewing all of the video presentations all of the board members and Superintendent Dr. Mike McLaughlin provided comments and feedback. |

| The board meeting adjourned at 7:46pm. |
