Halloween Parade Fun Times at Madison!
🎃 What a Halloween Parade! 👻
This morning, our entire Madison community came together for a joyful Halloween celebration, from our littlest TK Mustangs all the way through 5th grade!
Our students were decked out in creative, colorful, funny, spooky, and one-of-a-kind costumes, and it was wonderful to see every grade level join in the fun.
💛 A Special Thank You to Our Families
We are incredibly grateful to all of the parents, grandparents, caregivers, and family members who came out this morning to cheer on our students. You lined the parade route with smiles, encouragement, laughter, and so much Madison spirit.
Your presence matters. When our students see their families show up, celebrate them, and be part of our school community, it helps make Madison feel like home.
Thank you to our staff for helping make the parade safe, organized, and joyful.
Happy Halloween, Mustangs!
🎃 Have a Safe and Happy Halloween! 👻
The San Leandro Police Department reminds families, trick-or-treaters, and drivers to stay safe this Halloween.
👨👩👧 Trick-or-Treat Safely: Children should trick-or-treat with an adult or in groups and stay in familiar, well-lit areas.
🚶 Walk Safely: Use sidewalks and designated crosswalks, look both ways before crossing, and make eye contact with drivers.
🧙 Choose Safe Costumes: Make sure costumes fit properly, use reflective tape when possible, and carry flashlights or glow sticks.
🍬 Check Those Treats: Parents and guardians should check candy before children eat it and discard anything that is opened, damaged, or suspicious.
🚗 Drivers—Use Extra Caution: Slow down in residential neighborhoods, watch carefully for pedestrians, and avoid distractions.
