From the San Leandro Police Department: Keeping Our School Zones Safe
Keeping our students, families, and staff safe during arrival and dismissal depends on everyone following school zone parking and traffic rules. To support safer conditions around our schools, the San Leandro Police Department will be conducting targeted education and enforcement near San Leandro schools. Please help keep our school zones safe by keeping travel lanes and bus areas clear, avoiding red zones and crosswalks, leaving corners open for visibility, and making sure driveways remain accessible. A few extra minutes and a little planning can help keep traffic moving safely around our schools. Thank you for doing your part to keep our students and school communities safe.
