San Leandro Unified to Dedicate Boardroom in Honor of Diana J. Prola
Community invited to November 10 ceremony recognizing nearly two decades of service to San Leandro's public schools
San Leandro, CA—San Leandro Unified School District (SLUSD) will officially dedicate its Boardroom in honor of longtime Board of Education member Diana J. Prola on Tuesday, November 10, from 5 to 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend the ceremony at the district office, located at 2600 Teagarden Street in San Leandro.
First elected in 2008, Prola has dedicated nearly two decades to serving San Leandro's public schools, including three terms as Board President. Her leadership has been part of a period of expanded educational opportunities for students and substantial investment in school facilities throughout the district.
"Diana has given so much of herself to this district and to the San Leandro community," said Board President Jackie Perl. "Naming this Boardroom in her honor is a wonderful way to recognize her years of service and the contributions she has made to our schools."
The district welcomes community members, former colleagues, friends, and families to join in celebrating Prola and the dedication of the newly named Diana J. Prola Boardroom.
