  72. O.5.f JLC Lump Change Order-Garfield Modular Project Passed 📎 1

    Recommended motion

Recommend approval of JLC lump Change Order for Garfield Portable Project.

    Rationale
Change Order #1 The facilities department changed the tack board that was specified to another type that is the District's standard. Change Order #2 The demolition of the concrete footing was not included in the contractors original bid. There was also a credit that came back to the district as we did not have to lime treat the soil. This is only a small increase since we got the credit. Change Order #3 The City required an encroachment permit that wasn't anticipated. Change Order #4 During demolition it was discovered that the utilities going to Davis Street portables were not code compliant (too shallow). The existing utilities were replaced. Change Order #5 In order to be able to see the condition of the existing sewer pipe it was necessary to place a camera down the line.
